American Heart Association HeartSaver Blended Learning Program

Welcome to the American Heart Association HeartSaver Blended Learning Program. The fee for this program is $70.00, and can be paid on this site.

This fee includes:

• AHA Online HeartSaver Course (delivered via email)
• Hands on skills testing by our HeartSaver Instructors
• 2 year AHA HeartSaver Certification

Details - The AHA HeartSaver Blended Learning Program is a two-step learning process to achieve certification in HeartSaver CPR First Aid AED

STEP ONE: Complete the online portion of the program, followed by completing the written test with a passing score of 80% or higher. On average, this takes approximately one hour to complete. You will receive a link to the online training within 2 business days of completing the registration. Once you complete the online training please print a copy of the certificate, which is required for Part 2 - the Hands On Skill Testing. 

STEP TWO: The Hands On Skills testing. After successful completion of the online program, please call the office at ( 973) 972-4373 or email at uhctc@uhnj.org to schedule your skills testing. Monday- Friday 10am-12pm or 1pm-3:30pm

THIS CLASS HAS A ROLLING REGISTRATION AND THIS DATE IS NOT SKILLS TESTING DATE

Once you complete the online portion, please call the office ( 973) 972-4373 or Email uhctc@uhnj.org to schedule your skills testing date and time.  Monday- Friday 10am-12pm or 1pm-3:30pm

Each skills testing will take approximately 30 minutes. Here you will be tested by an AHA Instructor with a CPR manikin, AED trainer, etc. After successful completion of the online program, and hands on skills, you will receive a two-year certification from the AHA.

Additional information will be provided in your confirmation email that will be provided after registration. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your SPAM folder or call the office Mon-Fri 0800-1200 and 1300-1600 hrs. You will receive a confirmation email requesting you to receive a manual from our office, PLEASE DISREGARD. This does not apply to this course.
