HSI ASHI ( American Safety & Health Institute) Blended Learning
Welcome to the HSI ASHI ( American Safety & Health Institute) Blended Learning Program. The fee for this program is $70.00, and can be paid on this site.
This fee includes:
- HSI Online CPR/AED/ FIRST AID Course (delivered via email)
- Hands on skills testing by our HSI ASHI Instructor
- 2 year HSI ASHI Certification
Details - The HSI ASHI Blended Learning Program is a two-step learning process to achieve certification in ASHI CPR First Aid AED
STEP ONE: Complete the online portion of the program, followed by completing the written test with a passing score of 80% or higher. On average, this takes approximately one hour to complete. You will receive a link to the online training within 2 business days of completing the registration. Once you complete the online training please print a copy of the certificate, which is required for Part 2 - the Hands On Skill Testing.
STEP TWO: The Hands On Skills testing. After successful completion of the online program, please call the office at ( 973) 972-4373 or email at uhctc@uhnj.org to schedule your skills testing.
Skills testing will be held at 65 Bergen Street GA-67 - Skills testing can be scheduled between 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday (NOTE: You MUST contact us to schedule an appointment). Here you will be tested by an HSI Instructor with a manikin, AED trainer, etc. After successful completion of the online program, and hands on skills, you will receive a two-year certification from the HSI ASHI.
Additional information will be provided in your confirmation email that will be provided after registration. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your SPAM folder or call the office Mon-Fri 0800-1200 and 1300-1600 hrs. You will receive a confirmation email requesting you to receive a manual from our office, PLEASE DISREGARD. This does not apply to this course.
